The following points should be considered when choosing a good quality wireless alarm system:-                                                                                            Are the radio modules used compliant with european standards (en 300-220, etc) for use in the licence excempt bands   Use of narrow band FM technology which offers high immunity to localised noise and interference from other systems.          

Avoid cheap equipment on the commonly used frequency of 433.92Mhz.
